No wonder the Temple Mount causes such a furor! But in the end analysis, Jehovah, the almighty God of Jacob and of Israel speaks forth from Old testament Obadiah concerning the rightful possessor of the Temple Mount:

      Obadiah 1:17-18 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the "House of Jacob" shall possess their possessions!

      And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord ( Jehovah ) hath spoken it.

      Who owns Jerusalem? Who shall inherit it forever? The house of Jacob! What will become of Esau's house if they persist in stealing Jacob's inheritance? They shall be left with nothing! Let there be no mistake about these inquiries; The Lord shall defend Israel from those who perpetually exhibit hatred towards Israel!

      The house of Jacob is described as becoming like a consuming wildfire against Esau, leaving Edom to be nothing more than mere stubble. This analogy of a consuming fire meets exactly the scenario conveyed in Zechariah's vision about the very same situation concerning today's Palestine!

      Zechariah 12:6, 8-9 In that day ( when Israel is in their land and Palestine wants it ), will I, ( God ) make the rulers of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and the city of Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place even in Jerusalem.

      In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.

      And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all nations that come against Jerusalem!

      Israel has withstood its Arab enemies for the last five decades in just the manner described by Zechariah. Tiny little Israel has stood like a diminutive David against the Goliath-sized armies of Arab nations seeking their destruction, and has not only withstood the onslaught, but has literally devoured them like a raging fire burning through dry wood.

      Ladies and gentlemen, this is serious business. The previous 5 wars launched by the Arab neighbors of tiny Israel resulted in them being burned like dry leaves in a swelling firestorm. Yasser Arafat is today playing once again with fire. The hatred that drives Palestinians to perpetually spite Israel will only result in the devastation of their own people. The people of the West Bank and Gaza need the same thing all the Jews themselves need; and that is to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Only then can any of their number find peace.

      Only the Lord Jesus Christ can fashion the dream of the world to live in peace. Zechariah prophesied that when the Lord comes back and destroys all the perpetual hate directed at him through Israel, people of all nations shall find love in their hearts for Israel, and the God of Israel.

      Zechariah 8:22-23 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem. and to pray before the Lord.

      Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a JEW, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with You ( Israel ).

      Yes, the day is coming when every nation, even the Palestinian people, and all the Arab countries will beg the Jewish people to present them an with an audience with their mighty God and King, in their ( Israel’s ) holy city of Jerusalem.

      Try imagining that scene: a Palestinian crawling up on his hands and knees to plead with a person of the House of Jacob to take him to visit Jesus! It will happen! And still more, every nation shall finally learn to say; "Blessed is Israel, the blessing of every nation on earth". Hatred for Israel will be no more.

      Romans 9:13 conveys to us that Esau traded away his birthright for one morsel of meat, which in effect demonstrated his lack of respect for God's promises. God conveys to us in Malachi chapter one that he held a special bond for Jacob, and was distraught at Esau for beholding a perpetual animosity toward his brother Jacob, and his God-granted inheritance.

      Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I ( God ) loved, but Esau have I hated.

      God is Alpha and Omega, and he foreknew that Esau would despise his brother Jacob, and conspire perpetually to slay the children of Israel, and seek to steal away the promised land from Jacob. Esau; and all the perpetual haters of Israel are as a matter of historic fact choosing to be seduced by the lying scheme of Satan. In reality, it is Satan that seeks to usurp Israel from their land, and thereby displacing the God of Israel, and thus claiming that he is God.

      Let the truth be plainly stated. We are all greatly indebted to Israel. Israel is the national vehicle which God utilized to deliver the only hope this world has for peace. All Christians owe a deep-rooted sense of eternal gratitude to Israel for the opportunity to go to the eternal heavenly New Jerusalem!

      Ephesians 2:11-12 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

      That at that time ye ( all nations ) were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, ( Jacob ) and strangers from the covenants of promise ( Abraham ) having no hope, and without God in the world:       But now in Christ Jesus ye ( anyone ) who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ!

      I really like those verses. I am not of the nation of Israel, but because of the shed blood of Jesus on another mountain in Jerusalem, anyone can become a citizen of the commonwealth of Israel. Even the most violent Palestinian Hater of Israel can become a bonafide citizen and lover of Israel; simply because Jesus submitted his body to be blood-let by the perpetual hater of the King of ISRAEL; the ole Devil himself!

      I love Israel. That love stems from the fact that God chose to love me by manifesting his son among the House of Jacob. Anyone who has hopes of finding his way to the paradise of God's eternal Heaven must realize that God also loves Israel. Satan is the author of all the vile hatred that has been historically vented toward that nation. Romans chapter eleven conveys that all people (Arabs included) may be grafted into the natural branch of Israel through the man known as The Branch ( Isaiah 11:1 )

      Let the invitation of the Lord go forth to all the Palestinian people. There are many good Christians numbered among the House of Esau and Palestine. They are suffering today under extreme persecution because of their faith Jesus. The Perpetual Haters of Israel that dominate the Palestinian politic landscape, such as Hamas and Hezbollah, also inflict unmerciful persecution upon Palestinian Christians, because they view Christians of all nationalities as sympathizers to Israel and Zionism.

      The Perpetual Hatred of Israel is a relevant subject for today’s ongoing clashes between Palestinian terror groups and Israeli defense forces. While the youth of Palestine are trained and incited to hate Israel; and to carry out missions of barbaric intent, the Devil is mockingly parading around in anticipation of finally being turned loose upon the woman ( Israel ) so he can spill every drop of Israeli blood that he can. It is the purpose of this article to convey to the people in Palestinian-Authority controlled areas a spiritual note of warning from God almighty. Abstain from hate!

      Amos 1:11 Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword and didst cast off all pity, and his anger did tear Perpetually and he ( Esau-Palestine ) kept his wrath for ever.

      Ezekiel 25:12 Thus saith the Lord God; because that Edom hath dealt treacherously against the House of Jacob (Israel) by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended and taken revenge upon them (Israel);

      Therefore saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out my hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it;

      It is a dreadful trait to carry a "Perpetual Hatred" for God's people. As I have attempted to submit to the readers of this prophetic article, "hatred of Israel" is a characteristic trademark of Lucifer! During the approaching era of Jacob's Trouble; Satan, portrayed as the Great Red Dragon by John in the Revelation will pursue Israel with an all-out maniacal madness; endeavoring to exact his Perpetual Hatred on Israel in a vain attempt to totally wipe her out, and stop the fulfillment of God's promise to send his only son Jesus to reign with his people in their holy city of Jerusalem!

      Let the Perpetual Haters of Israel beware!

      Zechariah 8:2-3 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with a great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury!

      Zechariah 1:14-15 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

      Zechariah 3:2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee ;

      If anyone, including Yasser Arafat, Hamas, Hezbollah, the USA, Rome, or the Antichrist; has a problem with God choosing Jerusalem for Israel’s future King, or hates Israel, his chosen nation; then they will find God to be a formidable adversary on the day when he exacts his jealous wrath upon all Perpetual Haters of Israel!
