The Bible refers to this particular charismatic miracle worker as the "Son of Perdition"; or the Antichrist.

      In John 5:43 Jesus says" : "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

      In Matthew 24:5, and Mark 13:6, as well as Luke chapter 21:8; Jesus indicated that many would indeed come claiming to be the Christ; but that we should not follow after them.

      Many imposters have appeared down through the centuries since Jesus announced that many aspirants would try to deceive the world into believing that they were each the Christ; but there is still yet to come one particular extraordinary individual who will universally succeed in forging a personna as the Christ.

      Since Satan himself in fact does not know the day of the return of the real Christ; he must constantly logistically position his various protege prospects for ascendancy to become the real embodiment of the vile person known as the Anti- Christ.

      Wasn't it wise of Jesus not to divulge the actual day of his return, so that not only couldn’t any man know it, neither could any of the angels. So, even Satan himself has been left uninformed, and having to guess at the timing of that epic event.

      Satan's ages old scheme since his fall, is to plant an individual on the throne of God's house, in God's proclaimed capitol city, in the temple of "Jerusalem".

      This event in the bible is ever known as the "Abomination of Desolation". Matthew 24:15 speaks of this act by the great imposter Christ, on the occasion when he enters into the rebuilt house of Jehovah and sits on the very throne of God.

      Somewhere in the world, even right now, Satan has strategically positioned a potential candidate from among mankind to fulfill his desire to be worshipped as the one and only God.

      Daniel 8:24-25 indicates that this super-leader has at his beckon command a vast network of underlings working to produce an era of supposed peace, by utilizing the means of Peace Processes, or craft. When the logistical success of those efforts are completed, the Last Days miracle worker will finally be in a position to be exalted onto the world stage to head up the Last Days world wide empire, commonly referred to as Revived Rome.

      Revelation 6:2 pictures this world leader riding out onto the world stage on a white horse, with a bow in his hand, seeking to conquer; but he has no arrows in his quiver. The reason for this analogy is that he conquers through the means of Peace accords, and disarmament programs.

      Whereas the antichrist is promulgated to leadership by peace initiatives, he likewise accomplishes effectual leadership of the religion of Christianity; hence the term of antichrist, since he in essence takes over the place of Christ, and operates in conjunction with the apostate church of the last days.

      The latin term "Vicar of Christ" is synonymous with that very definition. The antichrist will utilize the office of Christs Vicar in combination with the secular position as the King of the ten kingdoms which make up the last world empire. He will be exalted to supreme leader of the world, and as the Christ on Earth, after the event of the rapture.

      So then, the antichrist will not be an outright and obvious counterfeit Christ. He appears very much christ-like, and works to promote peace and harmony, and world unity.

      By the time that the rapture actually does occur, the vast Satanic conspiracy working world-wide will have fully assimilated all the neccessary components of religion and state into one carefully orchestrated functionary, casting a false Christianity as the bride of the Son of Satan.

      This subtle character will have had the assistance of all of history's leavening of religious deception; which at this time will fully engulf the name of Christ's bride, and so decimate the truth of Biblical doctrine, that it will be totally broad enough to include all the systems of religion of the post-rapture world.

      The last days church has been undergoing a slow step-by-step leavening infiltration for advancing the advent of the seed of the serpent; Satans very own "Son of Perdition".

      The church of Laodicea, which is paramount in these last days, will have absolutely no dissenting voice within it to oppose the acceptance of the false Christ. The church that is intact after the Rapture will not skip a beat in acknowledging the coming of a Christ. (antichrist)

      This is one of the reasons that Bible prophecy is so very important; because the true church should not be on the lookout for a Christ to appear to lead the world through the dark days of Tribulation; rather true Christians should know that the real Christ is coming to remove His church from the era of dark days, or Tribulation era. The real Christ will only return physically to this earth after his wrath has judged all those who took pleasure in following the great cosmic Deception.

      The Roman Catholic eschatologic interpretation of prophecy teaches men to expect a coming time of great “Chastisement” upon the world, that will purge the whole world of all those who will not believe in Christ. The exact opposite is true.

      The great day of Wrath that is coming to this world is a time for the wrath of God to be poured out upon a world that has rejected the true Christ; and united in selecting to follow the Antichrist.

      The purpose of the Great Delusion, is to permit those who refused the love and truth of Jesus Christ during the long era of Grace, to be recompensed for their love of their own unrighteousness.

      The exact day of the second coming of Jesus has been kept secret from humanity and the angels so that the future Antichrist would not have the opportunity of timing the final conflict that will be waged with the real Jesus Christ.

      In essence then, the second coming of Jesus has been programmed by God to occur whenever he ( God ) deems it to be timely; and it will materialize in heavens' own synchronization with a face-to-face meeting with the sudden emergence of Satan's seed; exactly seven years after the great sudden disappearance of Christians.

      Daniel 8:25 says that the Antichrist will stand up against the Prince of Princes on the great day of the final battle.

      The world can not expect to see Jesus until that very day.

      Zechariah 14:4 says: And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east

      This is precisely the geographical location that the angels informed the apostles that Jesus would be returning to in the book of Acts, upon the occasion when he left this world.

      Acts 1:11 says: Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into Heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

      So then, for any person that is left on this earth after missing the great snatching away, he should not submit to any Christ appearing in any other location.

      II Thessalonians chapter two is a short dissertation on the coming imposter and the delusion that he will mastermind upon the world.

      Notice in verse one that we ( Christians ) are gathered unto Him, not the other way around. That day will not come until "WE" are gathered unto him. Lets read those verses very carefully:

      II Thessalonians 2 : 1-12

      Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering unto Him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word from us, as that the Day of Christ is at hand.

      The Day of Christ is in fact the phrase used for the day of Tribulation.

      Zephaniah 1 : 14-15 reads: The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry bitterly. That day is a Day of Wrath, a Day of trouble and distress, a Day of wastefulness and desolation, a Day of darkness:

      The Tribulational period is a time of Gods Wrath, which is poured out upon a christ rejecting world, for the purpose of bringing mankind to the end of his self pride. This time of trouble is not intended to be a test of the true bride of Christ.

      Furthermore Amos 5 : 18 says: Woe unto you that desire the Day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The Day of the Lord is darkness and not light.
