Answer…….I am not a politician or a diplomat. And it isn't the purpose of FOJ to provide humanistic reasoning, nor be politically pragmatic in its analysis on current events in our world. FOJ is solely a Christian Ministry that endeavors to convey that God (Alpha and Omega) has prophesied the current situation and has foretold all things, from the beginning of the world down to the very end. While it may be true that a great deal of confusion exists about the war on terrorism and that a clash of civilizations could ensue, it is also true that God foretold that the Israeli-Arab conflict would act as the catalyst in the Last Days to cause all nations to become embroiled in the controversy over Zion. Religion is a big factor in everything, especially in the Middle East. The nature of the religion of Islam, and the misunderstanding about God in all religions around the world is playing a part in that. Some say that Islam is a peaceful religion and that only the fringe extremists are bent on Holy war. One side claims that "jihad" means a personal struggle against evil in one's behavior. Others claim that it means conquest of the part of the world that is not Muslim, by whatever means necessary including acts of terrorism. The biblical concept of God loving the sinner is foreign to Islamic theology. To them, Allah is compassionate" and "merciful," but only to those who “submit” to and obey him. Their relationship to Allah is not as father and son but more like a master and a slave. Allah is not pictured in the Koran as a loving Creator, longing for an intimate relationship with man. Biblical concepts found in John 3:16, (for God so loved the world) are nowhere found in Islamic thinking. The Quran does present love as the chief attribute of Allah. Instead, the transcendence of Allah is his chief attribute. (Allah is egotistical---like Satan) The Bible presents the love of God as the chief attribute of the Christian God. (not willing that any should perish) The greatest difference between the two faiths is this personal quality of God. In the Koran, one must love Allah in order for Allah to love that person in return. In Christianity, God loved us enough to die for us while we were yet sinners, and offer us salvation. Would you suggest that I withold the truth, “prophetic and otherwise” from the world so that people could quietly and calmly go to hell?

Question # 172….(06-23-03) Will some Christians miss the rapture, and encounter the Tribulation?

Answer…………..Absolutely not! Every truly born again (spiritual rebirth) believer is a member of the Bride of Christ, which shall not be subjected to the “wrath of the Lamb.” And that fact is something that needs to be emphasized over and over. The tribulation is a period of time that will witness the wrath of the Lord! Too often, we categorize the tribulation solely as a time of Satan's wrath, but it is also a short span of time when a Christ rejecting world will encounter the wrath of the Lamb. (the Bridegroom) What kind of bridegroom persecutes his own Bride? Certainly not Jesus! (Revelation 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?) The answer to that last question is of course, ”Nobody”! No one could contend with God and survive. The good news is that nobody “has to be subjected” to the wrath of God. Unfortunately, many will choose to ignore God's gracious offer of his beloved Son, and blindly plow right on ahead into the coming supernatural conflict between Jesus Christ and Satan's Antichrist. The Bride of Christ has been assured by Jesus that he is coming to “receive her unto himself” before the coming Day of the Lord. (Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee) (Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I (Jesus) also will “keep thee from” (not merely sustain you through it) the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.) (1Thessalonians 5:4-11 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (the reason for the many signs of the times that the Lord has given us) Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake (remain alive to rapture) or sleep, (die before rapture) we should live together with him. The “blessed hope” should reside within the heart and soul of every Christian. What is the Blessed Hope? It is the fervent knowledge that Jesus will keep his promise to rescue every single Christian believer before the terrible hour of temptation. (Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that “blessed hope”, and the glorious “appearing” (parasouia-Rapture) of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.) It certainly would not be a blessed hope if a Christian could ascertain the signs of the times and deduce that the time was imminent for him to be subjected to the wrath of God. The only way that the Tribulation could be a “resident blessed hope” for a Christian rests in the fact that God will catch away his bride before resorting to warfare on this world. And that analogy fits perfectly with the Kingly Sovereignty of God. What sort of King would fail to recall his Ambassadors before he declares war? Satan can never harm a Christians soul, nor cause him to miss the Rapture, but he certainly can rob a believer of his blessed hope, and that is one of his conspiratorial plots against believes in these Last Days!

Unlike some ministries that teach that salvation may be lost, FOJ firmly believes in the salvation-security of every Christian. I often tell people that it is an impossible thing to “unknow” the truth, or to un-birth oneself from the family of the Heavenly Father! It is just as impossible to lose one's salvation as it is unnecessary for Jesus to be sacrificed more than once!

Question # 173….(06-24-03) Sir, You write in your introduction: “The ancient Babylonian Captivity of national Israel marked the first uprooting of national Israel from its prized homeland.” Why do you leave out the dispersion into Egypt? Everyone is familiar with Israel's history in Egyptian bondage, but it's not generally known that it was predicted centuries before (Genesis 15:13-16).

Answer…………I too am very familiar with the Genesis 15 account. It foretells that the descendants of Abraham/Isaac/Jacob/Joseph would endure servitude in the land of Egypt for 400 years. However, the experience of the Patriarchs in the land of Canaan did not constitute a legal possession of the land, nor did it constitute a national State for Israel. In fact, the term of Israel never even existed until Genesis 35:10-12, when God changed Jacob's name, and reconfirmed the Abrahamic Covenant through his descendants. The Patriarchal sojourn in the land simply served as a pioneering exploration, or sojourn. God himself declared in Genesis 37:1 that Jacob was merely a stranger in the land of Canaan. The land that God promised to the seed of Abraham-Isaac-Jacob-Joseph was actually then possessed by Canaanites, Amorites, Hitittes, Jebusites, Philistines, and Hivites. God did not move to arrange to give the “Promised Land” to the small patriarchal tribes at that particular time because the iniquity of the existing proprietors had not yet run its course. (example: See Genesis 15:16) God is just in his dealings with all nations. Furthermore, Abraham and Jacob had to purchase land in Hebron of Canaan, and in Shechem of Canaan for family burial plots. God brought Jacob to Beth-el and restated his promise to grant his seed the land in which he sojourned. (Genesis 28:15) God also pleaded with the Fathers of the children of Israel to not leave the land. (Genesis 26:23) But of course, Joseph was sold into slavery and the children of Jacob ended up in servitude down in Egypt as God had forewarned. It would not be until the “conquest of Canaan” hundreds of years later by Joshua that the children of Israel would ever take possession of the Promised Land. That possession culminated in the “First Commonwealth of the nation of Israel under her Kings.” Thus began the history of national Israel. Furthermore, the Egyptian bondage was not a “dispersion.” The Egyptian Pharoah never came to Canaan and uprooted the family of Jacob.

Question # 174…….(07-01-03) I know that Jesus said in Matthew 24:34 that the generation that witnessed the 2nd budding of the fig tree would live to see all things fulfilled. How long is a generation and is this the final generation?

Answer………There are have been several suggestions (20, 40, etc) as to the total years meant by the term generation as used in Matthew 24. Often, some people assume that Jesus was referring to the generation gapping between the natural offspring from parents.

But Jesus was clearly alluding to a specific generation that began to witness the commencement of a continual series of signs. (Matthew 24:32-3 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; (recovery of a remnant for national Israel) When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.) These signs are for Israel, (fig tree analogy) as there are no signs for the Rapture of the Church. Clearly, Jesus was saying that the generation that came into existence in conjunction with Israel being replanted in the covenanted land would be the generation that would witness all these things.

The Psalmist establishes the total years for a generation, or average life-span. (Psalms 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away) I very firmly believe that the generation that was born into the world in the years around 1948 will be the generation that shall see all the signs regarding Jesus return to this world fulfilled. That indicates that the time for Jesus imminent return is very near!

Question # 175….(07-01-03) It really does seem to me that things are getting worse and worse in the world. And it certainly does makes me feel like it is the end of the world, and it makes me afraid. Does this also mean that the devil is working overtime?

Answer…….Well, it is good that you are keenly aware that the world is getting worse and worse, instead of getting better. That shows that you are not blind to the developments that are taking place in our world. Some may say that ignorance is bliss, but I would prefer the wisdom of the Lord to help sustain me in this world. Mankind is a fallen creature, and his natural tendency is to wallow in sin, therefore his pathway of inclination is to disdain the things of God.

Thus, by alienating himself from God, mankind is easy prey for Satan. The Bible foretells that man will become increasingly more evil in the Last Days. (II Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.)

The Devil knows Bible prophecy as well as anybody, and so he too realizes from his own observance of the signs of the times that the time for Jesus return to this earth is nearing. As the time draws nearer and nearer to the return of Christ, the devil will continue to increase his efforts to keep people from trusting in the Lord and to prepare his world-wide logistical strategy to oppose Jesus right to reign in Jerusalem. The Devil however does not know when the Rapture will take place, nor when the tribulation will commence.

But, we as Christians needn't be worried, because the Lord has left us with a Blessed Hope. (1 Peter 3:12-14 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;)

Satan, or the Great Red Dragon, knows that the time for his showdown with Jesus Christ is imminent. Although he is preparing for that final confrontation, and is most certainly reinforcing his conspiratorial armaments in this present world, he has not yet reached the point where he is aware of the exact pending-doomsday of his rebellion. And he will only be able unleash the full fury of his hellish armies upon this world after the “Restrainer of Evil” in this world has been withdrawn. During the great Tribulation, Satan will unquestionably redouble his efforts to destroy Israel. (Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.)

Yes, Satan is indeed working with all due haste today. But, let not your heart be troubled as the day of Trouble approaches, but be glad and refocus with increased haste on the work of Jesus Christ, till he comes!

(Colosians 1:16-17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.) Demons are actually principalities. Demons are a lower level among the Angelic ranks. The ancient world associated demons with special esoteric knowledge and with superior intelligence. The word "demon" in Greek (daimon) comes from the root meaning "knowledge" or "intelligence." The Scriptures also testify to the fact that demons have access to knowledge and information that is unavailable to ordinary mortals. God created a great numbers of spirits, some of whom are now fallen, and infamously known as demons. Demons, deceiving spirits, familiar spirits, and unclean spirits do not have bodies of their own; hence, they seek to possess a body, human or otherwise. Irrespective of the degree of angelic evil, all demons are regarded by God as vile and depraved. A recurring biblical adjective concerning demons is that they are "unclean" (Matthew 10:1, Mark 1:27, 3:11). These spirits are both morally and spiritually unclean, and the same distinctive applies to their progeny on Earth. Yes, I said progeny on earth. In the Old Testament, the designation "sons of God" (bene Elohim) is never used for humans, (sons of man) but always of supernatural beings that are higher than man, but lower than God. Only one created species is known to fit such a category, angels. Angels are the created “sons of God” and are either good Angels that never rebelled against God, or they are the Angels that became part of the 1/3 host of Heaven that fell with Lucifer. The Angels are then further divided into classes of thrones, dominions, principalities or powers.

Fallen Angels did indeed mingle themselves with human women to produce a race of gegentes, or giants, known as Nephilim in the days before the flood, and also afterwards. The offspring of the Nephilim were half human and half demon-angel. Jude records that the sex-offenders of the angelic realm that left their first estate (habitation) are presently chained in darkness. However, their progeny cavort in the air seeking to posses or indwell a body. Demons are known to delight in promoting sexual perversion, and recruiting mankind into deviant sexual lifestyles. Indeed such is the degree of their degradation that the Lord abandons those who follow them to their own depravity. Romans 1:24-32 graphically states that "God gave them up." The craving of demons for a body, evident in the Gospels, offers at least some parallel to this hunger for sexual experience." The Book of Isaiah says that the Nephilim and their descendants will not participate in any resurrection, as is the portion of ordinary mortals. Isaiah 26:14 reads: "They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise." Nephilim had human mothers, but no human fathers, so they were not considered members of Adam's race. Only the members of Adam's race are offered redemption, the angels are not. Thus when they died the Nephilim spirits could have become disembodied and free to roam, seeking other bodies of men or animals to possess and dwell in. It has been suggested that this group of fallen spirits is responsible for the phenomenon of demon possession in the world today. Man's fascination with the occult and otherworld phenomena is amazingly significant today. At no other time has man been more conditioned to accept the possibility of extraterrestrial life. The popular New Age fad of "channeling" appears to be a good example of demon and disembodied spirits acting through men and women who make themselves available to evil spirits so as to receive hidden, esoteric wisdom alleged to come from the past or from "other worlds." America's financial imbalance in its (Financial imbalance means: "current federal debt held by the public plus the present value of all future federal non-interest spending minus the present value of all future federal receipts.") projected debt would require a tax-rate of about 70%. America's continued national indebtedness is only postponing its day of reckoning. God warned against accumulating great amounts of national debt. Debtor nations in the end shall fall prey to slave-masters. I am not an economist, but I think it is obvious from the signs of the times regarding the Last Days that we are very close to the universal system of the Antichrist. That system of Global Governance will indeed naturally (money is power) extend into the economic arena, and require all people to conform to the universal system of commerce under the authority of the Antichrist. Answer……..Due to disobedience, the descendants of Jacob have never possessed all the land that God promised to them. That does not mean that God's promise was an empty promise thowever. The Covenant that God entered into with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will still yet someday soon become a reality, but that will only happen after Israel learns to mourn (recognize) for her true Messiah. (Luke 13:35 —Zechariah 12:10) God promised the descendants of Jacob all the land between the Nile River and the Euphrates River. (Genesis 15:18 In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:) (See also: Genesis 17:8, Deuteronomy 1:7-8, Deuteronomy 11:24, Joshua 1:3-4) The Israelites were not promised the land east of Canaan however, as their borders were to run northward to include Lebanon and Syria on to the Euphrates. The land to the east was given to the sons of Keturah, etc. (Genesis 25) (Ishmael also has a Covenant-Genesis 17:20) The Palestinic Covenant, (the land contract) unlike the Abrahamic Covenant (blessing promise to Abraham's seed) was conditional. The children of Israel were required to keep Gods commandments/statutes and to observe his Sabbath. (Deuteronomy 4:1-6, Deuteronomy 6:1-3, 13-18, Deuteronomy 11 and 28) The Palestinic Covenant was comparable to a modern father giving his son the keys to a new car and telling the son that the car is his to drive anywhere as long as he obeys the driving laws. Upon disobeying the traffic laws he would lose privileges to the car. This is precisely what happened to Israel regarding the Palestinic Covenant. Israel has paid a high price for its disobedience, but God has assured the seed of Israel that he will restore that privilege in the Day of the Lord. The signs pertaining to the “Day of the Lord” abound today and portend that God is just about ready to send his Son back to Israel for their “second visitation,” and confirm all the Covenants he has made with Israel. Today, however, Israel is back in the land in unbelief and blindness. But the restorative process of God has begun. (physical-1st, spiritual-2nd) It will culminate in the miraculous salvation of Israel. Today, Israel only possesses about 10% of the Promised Land. Due to its “insecurity and anxiety” (lack of faith in God) in the world, Israel is even reluctant to exercise possession of portions of the land that it has won in wars for its survival. The discussion about the current possession of the Promised Land is a drama that is ongoing, and is being played out in the present Arab-Israeli Conflict of our age. A case in point, if Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Saudi Arabia loved the Palestinians so much, then why don't these countries, amidst all of their love, money and wisdom, just simply etch out a part of North-western Saudi or the Sinai (Despite the current division in the Sinai), in order to establish a truly independent Palestinian State? Answer: Because they all hate the Jews and Israel. Answer…….Please feel free to us FOJ material as best you can. The “refugee” controversy is a natural demographics problem produced by war. The point to be emphasized about the Palestinian refugees is that, the Arab nations began each of the previous wars, and in each war the Arab States issued a military/religious fatwa calling for Israel's extermination, and issued an appeal for the 740,000 Arabs living in Palestine to leave the area to make way for the invading Arab armies. The real problem in the Arab world today stems from the fact that Israel survived those wars. The world media makes much of the Palestinian refugee situation, but it should be noted that there were also about 650,000 Jewish refugees in the 48 and 67 wars. Jewish refugees from Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and the entire Arab world also lost property/land/and money, which was confiscated by the Arab States from which they were expelled. Israel willingly absorbed those refugees into the “small” State of Israel, while the much larger Arab States refused to absorb any of the (later to be called) Palestinians into their countries. Thus, because of the Arab rejection of the refugees, the United Nations Relief Works Agency (75% funding from US) established and maintains the refugee camps that exist throughout the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. The Palestinian camp population has grown to over 3,000,000 and today are quite simply being used as expendable-fodder and political pawns in the Arabs and the worlds “perpetual war” of hatred against Israel. Response…….Your assertion that injustice in the Middle East would end if Israel would simply comply with the PLO demand for the right-of-return for Palestinian refugees is shortsighted. The fact of the matter is that the Arab nations surrounding Israel in 1947 rejected the original UN partition plan and launched a united “war of extermination” upon Israel. The refugee problem was not only created by the anti-Zionists, but was also perpetuated by the same countries. Where would Israeli refugees be today had Israel lost any of the previous wars? I think we'd be talking about Zionists in the “extinct” category if the situation were reversed! Unlike the Arab countries around it, Israel does in fact extend full citizenship to many Arab people. The Israeli Knessett even has Arab/Muslim legislators. Refugees' is politically correct lie repeated until it is perceived to be the 'truth'. Virtually all the 'refugees' are refugees by choice. They, along with the invading nations gambled and lost. When Israel declared independence in 1948, it invited the Arabs in the region to join them. There are some refugees who claim that they were driven out by the Israel's, and there are a few cases where that argument can be made, but by and large, those 'refugees' that fled, did so voluntarily. The proof is that some Arabs remained, and are today Israeli Arab citizens. They enjoy the same rights as any other Israeli.

The Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research just released the results of a poll conducted among Palestinian 'refugees.' The poll was conducted almost equally between Jordan, Lebanon, the West Bank and Gaza refugees. The question was about the Right of Return from the viewpoint of those on whose behalf the two year Intifada has been fought. Guess what! The refugees don't wish to return to Israel! Only half would even move to the new Palestinian State.

You are right that I would not like to lose my home or land to anyone. But let me remind you that by enjoining/participating or being a complicit or non-complicit member of a people or nation that is involved in the act of an aggressive/offensive war against ones neighbor or nation, that one stands to lose their civil privileges when they lose that war. I would submit that many Palestinian people have been done a grave injustice, but the fault of that injustice primarily lies with the instigators of the 1948 war. If America should start a war against Mexico or Canada and lose that war, then I would be left subject to the authority of the new civil government, whether I liked it or not. Of course, I would have the choice of either conforming to the laws of the new authority or of choosing to rebel by establishing an insurrection. Any people living under oppression or domination may undertake to labor toward building a new social order, but in the final analysis, freedom and liberty are the reward of truth and righteousness. (Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.)

Zionism is the Divine dispensational plan of God for righteousness for all nations. Zionism is the plan of God to send his Son to reign on Mount Zion, and it is a Biblical doctrine. “Christian Zionism” is congruent with Gods design for Israel and for the whole world. Albeit, the present political State of Israel has many flaws, and is destined to enter into an ill-fated covenant with hell, but the Lord shall soon roar (reign) out of Zion and destroy all that hate his plan for Zion!
